Module 1: Introduction to Common Core

this looks like in Common Core. You will also learn how Common Core is different

surface knowledge. By the end of this module, you will know which teaching practices

Module 3: Common Core and Assessments
Will enable you to know when your
students are learning. It will show you how to evaluate student learning and how
to build common assessments; also, what to do if your students are not learning.
You will be introduced to methods of differentiating for culture and poverty and
how to map Common Core to RTI, Response to Intervention.

Module 4: Taking Common Core to the Classroom
Will assist you in making a seamless
transition from your state standards to Common Core. This module will support you
in developing your own plan to seamlessly transition to Common Core in your classroom.
You will learn to recognize when and what modifications need to be made and to identify
good teaching practices already in place. You will also be introduced tools that
will help you add complexity and nurture the growth of process skills in each of
your students.
